To promote the “National Water Environment Improvement Project,” which has been designed to achieve the objectives of the Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program pertaining to the water environment, Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) has initiated a project related to water pollution reduction and water quality improvement management. By the end of 2018, the Ministry of Economic Affairs not only approved 53 projects belonging to capital accounts in 15 counties/cities but also aided 15 counties/cities to approve projects belonging to current accounts. As of December 26, 2018, there are 34 projects belonging to capital accounts and 49 projects belonging to current accounts are awarded. The goal of this project is to assist the Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program management test and tracking performance. The project attended the budget tracking weekly meeting, conducted three national forward-looking project review meetings, and co-organized seven local government supervision meetings. Also, the project assists Northern Taiwan water environment improvement program in a total of three. Also, planning and engineering technical support was provided, and the implementation of the target proposal from 2019 to 2021 was proposed with the aim of improving water quality. Moreover, to preview the implementation performance of the Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program, the project completed four microfilms and one engineering documentary in the Northern Taiwan, which established and managed the forward-looking water environment community website.
